Consortium Technology Center

Lidar School

The official lidar school is under development and a taste of it will be available during a lidar workshop session at the CEDAR conference. This year CEDAR conference will take place at the Eldorado Hotel, Santa Fe, New Mexico, 24-28 and 29 June 2007.

Prof. Chu at the University of Colorado has developed a biannual remote sensing lidar class, that is taught for the second time this spring. Her lecture notes can be found at Chu’s lidar class site. Other lidar and atmospheric science related seminars at CIRES and the University of Colorado can also be found at Chu research group seminar page.

The CTC and CRRL site is under construction but in a near future we hope to host an updated introduction to lidars and lidar technology that both novices and experience users will be able to utilizes and enjoy. In the mean time you are welcome to browse around the CTC and CRRL site frequently for more information since new information is being added constantly. Feel free to email us your comments, suggestions, requests and contributions to the CTC and CRRL page, as they are greatly appreciated.
